Shifts:
Daytime 7:00-12:30 or 12:30-18:00 Wage: $25.62 per hour plus RRSP contribution by employer
Reports to:
Site Supervisor
Position Summary:
The Commissionaire is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the Elijiah Smith Building, its employees, visitors, and property.
Key Responsibilities:
Access Control:
Monitor and control access points to the building, ensuring that only authorized personnel and visitors are given entry. Surveillance:
Conduct regular patrols of the premises (internal) and monitor security cameras and alarm systems. Incident Response:
Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, providing appropriate action to manage and resolve situations. Visitor Management:
Register and provide identification badge and FOB to visitors/ contractors. Report Writing:
Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities, and prepare reports for the Security Supervisor. Customer Service:
Provide directions, assistance, and information to employees and visitors in a professional and courteous manner. Skills and

Strong observational and
problem-solving skills
. Excellent

and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in using security equipment and technology. Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations.
Certifications:
Must possess or be able to obtain a Government of Canada Reliable Status security clearances Licence:
