Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, including monitoring premises, enforcing rules, and responding to incidents. A strong background in conflict management and loss prevention is preferred.
Duties
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and facilities to identify potential security risks.
Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies and take appropriate action.
Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV to monitor activities and report any suspicious behavior.
Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary; maintain certification in these areas.
Document incidents accurately in reports for further investigation or review.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required to ensure safety protocols are upheld.
Experience
Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is highly desirable.
Familiarity with conflict management techniques and loss prevention strategies.
Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) and emergency response protocols.
Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.
Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
