Job Description
The Ford Agency is actively seeking a Security Supervisor to join a prestigious DC law firm. This role is responsible for overseeing firm security and securing staff to ensure all security measures are managed efficiently and in accordance with firm requirements. Only candidates with at least 3 years of security experience in a law firm with previous supervisory experience will be considered. This is a great opportunity to work with a great firm committed to the safety of its’ staff.
Responsibilities Include:
Supervise in-house security staff and programs, including performance reviews and mentorship
Handling regular risk assessment, reporting, and asset management planning
Maintain preparedness for crisis or emergency response and develop training programs
Coordinate with other firm locations on security training modules
Ensure proper maintenance and quality of security related equipment
Identify recommended process or equipment improvements
Qualifications Include:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in security experience
3+ years of security experience in a law firm
2+ years of direct supervisory experience
Strong knowledge of industry standards and trends
Practice sound judgment in security related situations
Professional communication skills
Proficient in MS Office
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
