FUNCTION
The Security Officer is essential in maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests, employees, and property. The ideal candidate will be vigilant, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate a commitment to upholding security protocols and procedures.

Monitor surveillance systems and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies, following established protocols.
Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify safety hazards and security breaches.
Enforce policies, regulations, and state gaming laws.
Assist guests and employees with inquiries and provide directions as needed.
Prepare and maintain accurate incident reports and documentation.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.
Provide training and guidance to new security personnel as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE
Available to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and nights, as needed.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent; previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.
Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures is a plus.
Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.
