Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Armed Security Officer to join our team. As a critical member of our security staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our facilities, employees, and visitors. This role requires a strong background in law enforcement, conflict management, and loss prevention.
Responsibilities:
– Patrol the premises, including buildings, parking lots, and exterior areas, to deter and prevent criminal activity
– Respond to alarms and incidents, and take appropriate action to mitigate the situation.
– Provide assistance to employees, visitors, and customers, including emergency response and first aid when necessary.
– Maintain a high level of visibility and engagement to prevent suspicious behavior and deter criminal activity.
– Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies to address criminal activity and provide support as needed.
– Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify and address potential security risks.
– Participate in ongoing training and certification programs to stay up-to-date on the latest security protocols and procedures.
– Maintain a professional demeanor and adhere to all security policies and procedures.
Requirements:
– Valid security officer certification.
– Proven experience in law enforcement or a related field.
– Experience with conflict management and loss prevention.
– Certification in CPR and first aid.
– Familiarity with CCTV and surveillance systems.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain vigilant and alert at all times.
– Ability to pass a background check and obtain any necessary certifications or licenses.
– Military experience is a plus.
