The International Mission Board, a nonprofit religious organization is hiring for a Security Specialist – On-Call to work at our IMB Headquarters!
Hours: On-Call
Location: Richmond, VA
Responsibilities:
Monitor entrances and exits to IMB facilities at reception desk and by closed-circuit television.
Act to prevent unlawful or unauthorized entry.
Monitor vehicular traffic on IMB property to prevent criminal activity.
Follow standard operating procedures when locking/unlocking facilities.
Greet staff, vendors, volunteers and general public who request access to IMB property. Check photo IDs for staff and picture IDs for visitors, vendors, and contractors.
Maintain daily log of all visitors, vendors, and contractors. Notify proper staff member when they have visitors.
Monitor fire alarm panels and closed Circuit Television camera systems.
Surveys buildings and parking lots during shift. Report any observed irregularities such as the presence of unauthorized people, fire hazards, or unsecured entry points.
Requirements:
High school diploma
Must be willing to train and obtain DCJS license and CPR/First AID certification within first few months of being hired.
