Security Guard – Overnights & Weekends Jobs in United States at JCJ National Security
We are seeking an experienced Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support cybersecurity operations at Fort Meade, MD. This role offers a hybrid work environment, allowing flexibility while maintaining mission-critical security oversight. The ISSO will be responsible for implementing and enforcing security policies, ensuring compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards, and securing Windows-based systems.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and implement security policies in accordance with NIST, RMF, and DoD cybersecurity frameworks.
Manage security compliance for Windows Server environments, ensuring adherence to security baselines and STIGs.
Conduct security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability management activities.
Support system accreditation efforts, maintaining proper documentation and compliance records.
Work collaboratively with IT teams to monitor and respond to security incidents.
Provide cybersecurity training and guidance to system administrators and end users.
Participate in local travel to support on-site security assessments and inspections as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in information security or cybersecurity-related roles.
Active Secret Clearance required.
Experience with Windows Server administration and security configurations.
Knowledge of RMF (Risk Management Framework) and DoD cybersecurity policies.
Strong understanding of vulnerability assessment tools and techniques.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and within a team.
Security certifications such as Security+ CE, CISSP, or CISM are preferred.
