Position Summary:
The Security Supervisor will report to the Security Shift Manager and assist in the day-to-day operations of the Security Department. The Security Supervisor will also be responsible for administrative duties, hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating staff.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Promotes positive team and inter-departmental relationships.
Directs personnel regarding compliance with internal controls, departmental policies, and procedures.
Assists in investigations.
The Security Supervisor reacts to challenges by formulating and presenting proposed solutions to the Security Management Team.
Assists in the implementation of the Security Standard Operating Procedures.
Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).
One (1) years’ experience in a Security Department in a high-volume, complex casino environment or two (2) years’ experience in a Security related field.
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.
Must possess exceptional guest service skills.
Must have excellent communication skills.
Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.
Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.
