The Kind of Work You’ll be Doing:
Physical Security & Emergency Response: Maintain a visible security presence and respond to emergencies (fire, medical, accidents) with professionalism and calm. Provide first aid, CPR, and use of AED when needed.
Patrolling & Monitoring: Regularly patrol the property, both on foot and by vehicle, to ensure safety and report security incidents. Test and maintain security systems (locks, cameras, electronics).
Access Control & Guest Services: Manage access to the property, register guests and vehicles, and monitor deliveries. Greet and assist visitors in lobby areas, verify IDs, and manage electronic sign-ins.
Event & Traffic Control: Provide security and traffic control during special events at the Lake Hart Facility and off-site functions. Handle animal control incidents and contact local authorities when necessary.
Risk Management & Safety: Identify and assess security risks and safety hazards, taking appropriate action to resolve them.
Training & Staff Support: Assist in training new security staff and participate in employee orientation sessions.
Operational Duties: Operate security vehicles (including golf carts) and ensure all communication devices (radios, phones, pagers) are functioning properly.
Please note: This role has rotating shifts (overnight shifts and weekend shifts as well), and travel projects within the United States.

Experience and Skills:
2 Year / Associate Degree or equivalent to: Criminal Justice/Security Management Certificate
2 Years security experience (corporate security preferred). Also required is a proven track record in the private security industry.
