Key Responsibilities:
Permanent Post
Maintain a Secure Environment: Ensure the safety and security of the residence and its occupants at all times.
Access Control: Monitor and control all entry and exit points, verifying identities and credentials of visitors, service providers, and guests. Maintain detailed visitor logs and utilize surveillance systems to ensure property security.
Patrol Duties: Conduct regular patrols of the property, including perimeter checks, exterior lighting, and detached structures.
Incident Reporting: Promptly report and document any suspicious activities, security breaches, or emergencies.
Customer Service: Interact professionally and courteously with Principals, their family, guests, and service providers.
Alarm Response: Respond to all security alarms, conduct visual confirmations, and coordinate with monitoring services and law enforcement as needed.
Shift Handover: Provide detailed briefings to incoming officers, ensuring seamless transitions between shifts.
Extended Shifts: On occasion, candidates must be open to working longer-than-anticipated shifts to accommodate driving Principals off-property for errands or other needs.
Specific Duties Include:
When Principals Are Not in Residence: Conduct regular patrols of the grounds and exterior structures.
When Principals Are in Residence: Focus on front yard and gate checks, monitor cameras, and maintain minimal interaction with Principals to respect their privacy.
Armed Transport: Occasionally provide secure transportation for Principals as directed.
Visitor and Vendor Management: Coordinate with residence personnel to manage scheduled and unscheduled visits, ensuring proper authorization and documentation.
Requirements:
Mandatory: Prior experience as an active or retired law enforcement officer.
Licensing and Certifications:
Valid Concealed Carry Permit (CCW).
Valid California Guard Card and Firearm Permit.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in using phone apps for guard tour systems.
Able to use a computer to generate detailed shift reports and send documentation via email.
Strong understanding of access control, surveillance systems, and alarm response protocols.
Excellent observational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be physically fit and able to perform regular patrols and inspections.
Knowledge of customer service principles and the ability to interact with high-profile individuals discreetly.
Clean background check and drug screening.
Shift Details:
We offer a variety of shift schedules to accommodate different availability and preferences. Shifts include:
Part-Time and Full-Time Options: Shifts range from 24 to 32 hours per week, with schedules spanning weekdays, weekends, or a combination of both.
