Security Guard responsibilities include ensuring the safety and security of our employees, working with federal and local law enforcement. We are looking for a security guard to ensure safety by identifying risks, monitoring access controls and enforcing standard security procedures. A successful candidate will have the ability to multitask and prioritize duties in a fast-paced environment. For example, you should be able to remain calm in emergency situations and respond appropriately. Security guard skills include: maintaining firearms proficiency, physical strength, security systems operating and personal safety precautions. The ideal candidate should be reliable, trustable and very detail-oriented. As a security guard you should be able to work effectively within a team and by yourself.
Responsibilities:
Protect company assets by ensuring a safe environment, inspecting people and vehicles entering company premises and detecting unauthorized activity or thefts.
Monitor cameras installed on the premises throughout the day to record and report unusual activity.
Helps in conducting background checks on potential employees and contractors.
Maintain an immediate line of communication with emergency response team.
Report serious incidents and/or unruly behavior to supervisory staff.
Keep accurate logs in order to check in/out staff and visitors, time spent on break etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.65 – $19.49 per hour
