Job Summary
This is position is for coverage of special events only. We cover many types of special events including but not limited to event dinners, receptions, birthday parties, fundraisers, and celebrations of life. We currently hold events in several counties including Yuba, Sutter, Yolo, and Sacramento.
We are seeking a vigilant, dedicated, weel-groomed individuals to join our special event security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. The Security Guard will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of property and personnel while upholding the highest standards of professionalism.
Prior to being hired you must show proof of age eligibility, a California guard card, 40 hours of guard training certificates (you must be able to provide copies of guard card and certificates), and any applicable continuing education certificates. Interviews will only be conducted after proof of required documents have been provided. All interviews for this position will be held in person at Brookman Protection Services main office located in Yuba City, CA.
Skills
Strong knowledge of loss prevention techniques and strategies.
Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
Proficient in surveillance techniques, including the use of CCTV systems.
Background in law enforcement or military service is a plus.
Ability to remain calm under pressure while making sound decisions quickly.
Strong observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential security risks.
Effective communication skills for interacting with diverse groups of people.
