Summary
The Security Host is responsible for safeguarding company property, maintaining the safety and compliance of guests and employees, providing crowd control, and diffusing potentially hostile situations while providing superior guest service. All duties and assignments are to be performed according to departmental and Clique Hospitality company policy and procedures.
Job Requirements
Monitor large crowds in a nightlife environment.
Patrol assigned areas to ensure safety for guests and staff.
Enforce safety policies and procedures.
Stand post to observe activities and ensure compliance with laws and policies.
Respond to incidents, emergencies, and potential problems.
Work with staff across departments and communicate effectively.
De-escalate conflicts and manage threats or acts of violence.
Enforce health and safety guidelines per local, state, and company policies.
Provide first aid and assist injured persons.
Attend security training and meetings.
Follow professional communication protocols.
Escort guests and staff as needed.
Maintain grooming and attire standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Ability to work in a high-stress, high-volume environment as part of a team.
Experience in a dynamic environment with frequent changes.
Effective communication skills in English; bilingual is a plus.
Proficiency in reading and writing in English.
Possession or ability to obtain required licenses and cards (e.g., Non-Gaming Work Card, CPR).
Availability to work all shifts, including day, swing, and graveyard.
Preferred: 3+ years in hotel/casino/nightclub industry.
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
Professional grooming and age 21+.
