A proactive and hands-on Security and Infrastructure Engineer dedicated to managing and securing our IT infrastructure across both office and production environments. This role involves delivering first-line support for office IT operations, including setting up meeting room devices, overseeing office network connectivity, and ensuring a robust, secure IT environment for all users.
Responsibilities include:
IT Security & Infrastructure
Manage and secure network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, firewalls, Wi-Fi, VPNs).
Monitor system and network performance, logs, and alerts to identify threats or vulnerabilities.
Implement and maintain IT security tools (antivirus, endpoint protection, SIEM, MFA).
Conduct vulnerability assessments and support patch management.
Collaborate with vendors and service providers for network, cloud, and security solutions.
Maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.
Ensure compliance with company IT security policies and relevant regulatory frameworks.
Office IT Support
Provide day-to-day IT support for office users (hardware, software, printers, network access).
Set up and maintain meeting room AV systems (displays, webcams, microphones, conferencing software).
Support onboarding/offboarding of employees (laptops, access rights, credentials).
Troubleshoot connectivity issues (Wi-Fi, VPN, LAN) and resolve end-user problems quickly.
Document standard procedures and user guides for common office IT tasks
Familiarity with tools such as Cisco, Fortinet, Azure AD, and endpoint security solutions.
Strong hands-on experience with network security, firewalls, VPNs, Microsoft 365, and Windows servers.
Experience supporting office environments and managing AV equipment is a plus.
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
3–6 years of experience in IT infrastructure, IT Support & cybersecurity roles. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer, CCNA, or CEH are advantageous.
Technical hands-on skills in Microsoft Office, networking, Security and Windows Server administration.
Good troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Bilingual in English and Mandarin is a must as you will be working very closely with our China counterparts.
