Full Job Description
Responsibilities:
Install and configure various types of security systems, including fire alarms and access control systems
Perform maintenance and repairs on security systems as needed
Conduct site surveys to determine the best placement for security equipment
Collaborate with clients to understand their specific security needs and provide appropriate solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with security systems, including diagnosing and repairing faulty equipment
Ensure that all installations meet industry standards and comply with relevant codes and regulations
Provide training to clients on how to use and maintain their security systems
Experience:
Experience in installing and programing interior and exterior video surveillance systems, ideal candidate will be familiar with Axis, Genetec, Bosch, or OpenEye.
Certificate or relevant training in fire alarm installation, alarm installation or related field
Proven experience as a service technician or installation technician in the security industry
Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to work with power tools
Familiarity with computer networking and cabling for low voltage systems
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical diagrams
