Job Summary
Preeminent is seeking a Compliance Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate must be detail oriented, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and able to multitask. You will be responsible for ensuring employees adhere to procedures, conducting audits, developing compliance programs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. As a Compliance Officer you will play a key part in maintaining and developing our security protocols. Your keen attention to detail and knowledge of security regulations will contribute to the overall safety and compliance of our operations.
Responsibilities
Train current officers on compliance issues such as customer service skills and uniform appearance.
Enforce Preeminent best practices to minimize employee error.
Enforce uniform and contract compliance amongst employees.
Assist with a corrective action plan.
Writing detailed reports.
Maintain and create employee work schedules.
Efficiently learn PREEMINENT’s software systems: specifically; Deputy, BambooHR, Connect Teams, Outlook, and MS Teams.
Qualifications
Must hold an active DC Special Police Officer (SPO) License.
Experience supervising 30+ officers.
Proven experience in compliance role(s)
Knowledge of Security Regulations
A degree in Criminal Justice or Human Resources preferred.
Strong analytical and communication Skills
Knowledge of HR disciplines preferred.
Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, verbal/written communication skills needed.
Excellent follow-through skills.
Must have reliable transportation.
