Control Risks is seeking a highly skilled Security Intelligence Analyst to join our esteemed team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in providing comprehensive threat assessments and actionable intelligence that will guide our clients in safeguarding their personnel, assets, and operations. This position will be directly tied to a specific client project, and the contract will be linked to the duration and scope of that engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting thorough research and analysis to identify applicable geopolitical threats and trends that may affect client operations.
Drafting detailed intelligence reports and assessments tailored to specific client needs and risks.
Monitoring relevant events and developments, as well as social media channels for emerging security threats.
Delivering timely briefings and presentations to stakeholders, highlighting critical findings and recommendations.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance the effectiveness of intelligence gathering and analysis processes.
The analyst team will be responsible for, among other things:
Ongoing threat monitoring in the state of Michoacán.
Producing diverse analysis, reports, and intelligence products using Control Risks’ resources and other available tools.
Delivering daily morning and evening briefings on areas where inspectors will be deployed.
Including operational deployment recommendations within said reports.
Supporting the production of ad hoc intelligence products.
Producing security alerts.
Conducting forward-looking analysis of weekly and monthly trends.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, International Relations, Security Studies, or a related field.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in security intelligence analysis or a related discipline.
Proficiency in research and analytical methodologies, including risk assessments and reporting processes.
Advanced English proficiency, both spoken and written.
Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information into clear and actionable insights.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a demonstrated capacity for professional presentations.
Ability to function effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Familiarity with social media monitoring tools and geopolitical analysis applications.
Capacity to work well both independently and collaboratively within a diverse team environment.
