Position OverviewWe are seeking a passionate Security Intern to join our dynamic team remotely. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain real-world experience in an advanced AI/ML/blockchain project, with a focus on security. While no prior industry experience in blockchain or AI/ML is required, a strong academic background and a keen interest in these areas, as well as cybersecurity, are highly preferred.
Key ResponsibilitiesSecurity Analysis and Research:
Conduct in-depth analysis of security threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors relevant to Tenzro’s decentralized platform.
Research and prototype security solutions to mitigate risks in areas such as data integrity, network resilience, and access control.
Analyze the security implications of integrating secure hardware components (e.g., TPM, Secure Enclaves) with the platform.
Security Architecture And Implementation
Contribute to the design and development of secure system architectures for Tenzro’s decentralized network.
Implement and test security controls, such as cryptographic protocols, access management, and threat detection mechanisms.
Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure secure software development practices and integrate security solutions into the platform.
Compliance And Auditing
Develop security policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure the platform meets regulatory and industry requirements.
Conduct security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scanning to identify and address security risks.
Assist in the preparation of security-related documentation, including incident response plans and security audits.
Collaboration And Knowledge Sharing
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, network engineers, and data scientists, to incorporate security best practices.
Contribute to whitepapers, technical documentation, and presentations on Tenzro’s security approach.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in blockchain security, cryptography, and cybersecurity.
Participate in academic and industry conferences as needed.
Qualifications
Educational Background:
Ongoing Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Rust, or Go.
Experience with security tools and frameworks (e.g., Wireshark, Metasploit, OWASP tools).
Knowledge of cryptographic principles, network security, and secure software development practices.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Academic research experience in cybersecurity, cryptography, or blockchain security.
Publications in peer-reviewed journals or conferences.
Understanding of blockchain technology, decentralized systems, and their security challenges.
Experience with hardware-based security solutions, such as Trusted Platform Modules (TPM) or Secure Enclaves.
