Immediate opening for a Full Time Loss Prevention Officer in Davenport, IA

Job Description:

Identify shoplifters thru floor patrol and through the use of Closed Circuit TV

Report writing

Interacting with local law enforcement agencies as needed

Provide court room testimony as required

Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.

Full-time/ 40 hours per week

$21.00 per hour / Paid Time Off / 401k / Health Insurance

Job Requirement:

Pre-Employment criminal background and drug screen

Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3-4 hours at a time

Reliable transportation

Ability to communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written means

Ability to write legible, accurate and easily understood reports

Must be assertive, yet controlled in dealing with confrontation

Must be trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervision

Attendance for scheduled shifts. Tardiness and absenteeism is not tolerated

Previous loss prevention experience a plus, but not a requirement

High school diploma or equivalent (minimum)

Criminal Justice or related studies a plus

This is an immediate opening. Paid training will be provided.

Candidates for this position must be at least 18 years old and able to meet State of Iowa requirements for Security Guard License including driver’s license record and criminal background checks.
