Security Manager Vacancy in Umm-Salal, Qatar
Position: Asset Protection Officer
Duties and Responsibilities:
Reports to Property Defense Manager.
Performs examination of occurrences & situations described by the division.
Carries out CCTV monitoring (live and random review of recordings).
Conducts new staff orientation for newly-hired cashiers, pharmacy assistants, and pharmacists when requested by Kulud Administration.
Sends reports of all investigations & cases to the correct authority, as well as reports of all incidents to the concerned department manager.
Conducts surprise branch visits and surprise cash counts.
Supervises the execution of projects like CCTV installation, GPS setups & smoke alarm maintenance evaluations of contractors.
Maintains CCTV systems regularly and visits pharmacy branches to address concerns regarding the CCTV system, keeping logs of maintenance issues.
Handles security personnel of selected business facilities, including IMC Shop and Kulud Store.
Checks CCTV recordings for missing check-ins/out of staff upon request.
In charge of the division’s administrative requests and maintains office equipment and facilities.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as instructed by the CEO, DCEO, and APM.
Qualifications:
Locally available.
Bachelor’s degree, ideally related to IT or electrical courses.
Qatar driver’s license, ideally with a vehicle.
4-5 years’ experience in property protection/loss prevention in a retail industry setup.
Substantial knowledge of CCTV operations, preventative maintenance, and system installation.
Experienced investigator with excellent investigative skills; formal training in investigation is a plus.
Strong communication skills, preferably in English.
Great team player, adaptable to fast-changing workplace and situations.
Experience in incident management, security, and safety management is preferred.
