Job Summary:TheSecurity Managerworks under the direction of the Managing Director – Projects and is responsible for ensuring our locations are secure with the proper coverage, equipment, and procedures to safeguard against theft and losses. Oversee Security projects from initiation to completion, develop project plans, and implement effective strategies to achieve project goals.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Lead, coach, train and motivate Security System Installers and Facility security specialist.
Identify and protect company assets through the development and implementation of security policy and SOP’s.
Lead security projects that would include research, analysis, submitting budgets, tracking, describing and creating processes through implementation.
Coordinates all physical security for Warehouse and facilities; directs training for, and proper utilization of electronic surveillance equipment and other security devices.
Provides management reports summarizing and analyzing losses and potential profit loss as identified through audits and investigations; recommends and implements corrective action as necessary.
Conducts warehouse visits and audits to support and evaluate department standards in conjunction with the Managing Director – Projects. This includes but not limited to asset management and security system installation / effectiveness.
Initiates and conducts investigations into theft/dishonest activity.
Prepares surveillance equipment maintenance schedules and coordinates with the security system installers on upcoming tasks.
Create timelines and task lists for upcoming security installs or projects.
Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and external vendors.
Perform other duties as appropriate and assigned.

Job Requirements:
Ability to learn and use Microsoft outlook, excel, Smart Draw, security & surveillance software.
Ability to pay close attention to detail
Ability to communicate effectively and express ideas both written and orally.
Ability to delegate work and train others.
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively.
Ability to work independently
Ability to sit for long periods of time.
Willingness to travel up to 25%
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field (such as security management, IT, or Engineering) preferred.
2+ years of experience in security camera installation, security camera maintenance, and management.
