A Security Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the security operations within an organization. This role involves developing and implementing security policies, protocols, and procedures to ensure the protection of employees, assets, and information.

What You’ll Do:
Developing Security Policies and Procedures:
Create and implement comprehensive security strategies that align with the organization’s objectives and regulatory requirements.
Risk Assessment:
Conduct regular security assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies to manage risks.
Security Operations Management:
Oversee the daily operations of security personnel, ensuring that all security measures are consistent with established policies.
Emergency Response Planning:
Develop and implement emergency procedures and incident responses, including evacuation plans, to handle security breaches effectively.
Training and Awareness:
Conduct security training sessions for staff to enhance their awareness of security protocols and encourage a culture of security within the organization.
Surveillance and Monitoring:
Oversee the installation and management of security systems, such as CCTV, access controls, and alarm systems, to monitor and protect the premises.
Investigations and Reports:
Lead investigations into security breaches or incidents and prepare detailed reports outlining findings and recommendations.
Liaison with Law Enforcement:
Act as the primary contact for law enforcement and other external agencies in matters related to security.
Compliance:
Ensure that all security practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.

Job Specifications
Education
✅ Education: A bachelor’s degree insecurity management, or a related field is often required. Professional certifications, such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), are highly desirable
Experience
✅ Several years of experience in security management or a related field, with a proven track record of developing and implementing security policies and procedures.
