BIG PICTURE:
We are looking for an exceptionally detailed and dedicated Security Manager who will be responsible for overseeing and implementing comprehensive security measures at our production studio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security management, risk assessment, and crisis response, coupled with excellent communication and leadership skills. Ultimately, this person will not only ensure the safety of our studio but also maintain the organization of our daily operations ensuring there are never areas of concern.
HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME:
Developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and standards to safeguard the studio’s premises, personnel, and assets
Conducting regular risk assessments and security audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement necessary improvements
Managing and leading a team of security personnel, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure a high level of professionalism and efficiency
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures seamlessly into studio operations
Monitoring and responding to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms, coordinating with local law enforcement when necessary
Staying informed about industry best practices, emerging threats, and technological advancements to continuously enhance the studio’s security posture
Overseeing access control systems, CCTV, and other security technologies, ensuring optimal functionality and reliability
WHAT YOU HAVE:
Proven experience as a Security Manager or in a similar role, preferably within the entertainment or production industry.
Strong knowledge of security protocols, risk management, and crisis response.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with security technologies, including access control systems, CCTV, and alarm systems.
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with diverse teams.
Relevant certifications in security management or a related field are a plus.
After hours availability as needed for emrgency situations

The Security Operations Manager will report directly to the Executive Director

All the action takes place at our studio in Burbank, CA
WHEN THE MAGIC HAPPENS:
The typical work schedule is 40 hours a week, specific times will be discussed during the interview
