Responsible for managing the daily operation of the Security Department
Determines manpower requirements and schedules personnel to provide maximum security coverage with minimum labor costs.
Maintains and keeps updated list of evicted guests.
Must be able to work collaboratively with NRGC Gaming officials
Head the property in Responsible Gaming
Administers training programs for assigned personnel that will ensure effective security of gaming and money handing experience.
Counsels, guides and instructs personnel on the proper performance of their duties.
Performs the function of hiring, training, and developing employee’s skills; reviewing employee’s performance and administering discipline.
Responsible for the preparation and coordination of the annual budget, including the monitoring of facilities and expenses
Cooperates with federal, state and local law enforcement agencies of mutual concern.
Duties such as interviewing; training; selecting and adjusting rates of pay and hours of work; directing the work of employees; maintaining production; appraising employees’ productivity and efficiency for purposes of recommending promotions or other changes (evaluations)
Handling employees’ grievances and complaints; disciplining employees; planning work; providing for safety and security; and monitoring or implementing legal compliance matters
Responsible for the overall integrity of daily operations, ensures compliance and training with all regulatory, internal control, and associated policies and procedures
Presents oneself as a credit to the Company and encourages others to do the same.
Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
Lead an organization with methods and actions that are ethical and in full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Company policies.
Identify compliance risks and take actions necessary to eliminate or minimize risks.
Champion, within the organization, a commitment to honesty, integrity, and responsible corporate behavior.
Create a compliance culture within the organization and foster an environment where employees feel comfortable reporting potential violations or misconduct.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
Must be able to obtain CPR and First Aid Certificate and become a property certified trainer
Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance according to schedule.
Able to walk, work and stand, inside and outside, occasionally in heat in excess of 115 degrees or cold in excess of 10 degrees.
Able to physically restrain adults in excess of 200 pounds.
Able to respond calmly in crisis and stressful situations and be familiar with de-escalations techniques.
Able to work independently.
Able to stoop, bend, jump, twist, crouch, grip and carry heavy loads and maneuver quickly on level surfaces, as well as up and down stairs.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
Must be able to push or pull up to 150 pounds.
Able to respond to visual and aural cues.
Able to see and also remember the specific details of incidents and persons.
Must be able to make rational decisions when handling guests and employees.
Must be able to lift above the head occasionally.
Run on level surfaces, as well as, up and down stairs.
Operate in mentally and physically stressful situations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma, College Degree preferred.
3 years supervisory/management experience
Strong leadership, supervisory, and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical, oral and written skills
Effective communication (written, verbal and presentation)
Must be able to obtain a gaming license
Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
