Salary: £51,000 + extensive benefits package
Hours: Monday to Friday: Week 1 (08:00-16:30) / Week 2 (12:00 – 20:30)
This role represents a great opportunity to join the security management team at a high-profile location in London. This is a proactive front-line role will see you lead, motivate and support the security teams on the ground and interface with clients/stakeholders and members of the public.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
SIA Door Supervisor or Close Protection licensed
Proven people management skills with experience leading and developing security teams
Able to work both shift timings of 0800-16:30 and 12:00-20:30.
Able to multi-task and work under pressure to tight deadlines, particularly during incidents or emergency situations
Experience managing control room operations
Your role will include:
Responsible for overseeing a large team of Security Officer, Control Room Operators and Security Team Leaders.
Ensure staff work in accordance with the SOPs and policies.
Provide security advice and support to internal stakeholders
Deputise for the Security Manager when required
Provide management and operational support to logistics, security, events and facilities operations
Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Oversee the operation of the Security Control Room
Monitor and oversee the management and maintenance of the technical security systems and equipment such as CCTV, access control systems and hostile vehicle mitigation
Act as the security lead on allocated projects
Prepare and deliver operational emergency response procedures
Deliver security briefings
Incident management and response
Carry out investigations into security and operational related incidents
