Position Overview The Security Manager for the manufacturing site of our client company will oversee all aspects of physical security, crisis management, and compliance. This position demands a proactive leader with experience in industrial security, risk management, and emergency preparedness, as well as the ability to coordinate with stakeholders to maintain a secure and compliant working environment. Key Responsibilities 1. Security Operations Management
Develop and enforce robust security policies and protocols for a high-value manufacturing and engineering facility.
Oversee the deployment of security personnel, ensuring optimal coverage.
Managesecurity systems, including CCTV surveillance, access controls, and alarm systems.
Conduct site inspections and address vulnerabilities proactively. 2. Risk Assessment and Compliance
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with ISO standards, local regulations, and GE Aerospace’s global security policies.
Coordinate with EHS teams for seamless integration of safety and security protocols. 3. Crisis and Emergency Management
Develop and execute crisis management and emergency response plans.
Organize evacuation drills and train employees on emergency procedures.
Serve as the primary contact for local authorities during emergencies. 4. Personnel Management
Recruit, train, and supervise security personnel, ensuring professional standards.
Manageshift schedules, attendance, and leave plans for uninterrupted coverage.
Conduct performance reviews and implement development programs. 5. Investigations and Reporting
Leadinvestigations into security incidents such as theft or protocol breaches.
Prepare detailed incident reports with actionable recommendations.
Provide regular security updates to regional and global leadership. 6. Vendor and Stakeholder Collaboration
Managecontracts with third-party security agencies, ensuring adherence to agreements.
Liaise with local law enforcement and regulatory bodies as needed.
Collaborate with internal teams, including site leadership and HR, to align security objectives. 7. Budget Management
Prepare and manage the site’s security budget.
Optimize resources and implement cost-saving measures without compromising security. 8. Culture of Safety and Security
Foster security awareness through training programs and workshops.
Promote a culture of vigilance among employees and contractors. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Incident Reduction: Decrease in thefts, breaches, and security violations.
