Job Description
s/he will implement, monitor, and communicate corporate security policies, implement security procedures and instructions, and ensure compliance with the corporate security policies.
Monitor and supervise the daily security operations related to static posts, patrols, intervention, visitor management, access control and video surveillance. This will require a very good command of the access control as well as of the video surveillance systems.
Implement and maintain standard procedures and propose the necessary physical security measures to be implemented on site.
Monitor, control, and report on the implementation of the security guarding services.
Plan and implement the necessary security measures for events, conferences and high-level events.
Profil
Level of education: Bachelor or equivalent
Field(s) of education: Completed university studies of 4 years in a related subject (e.g. criminal justice, law enforcement, military fields, public administration) or of 3 years with at least 1 year of relevant working experience, or professional training of an equivalent level.
The candidate must be in possession of a Personnel Security Clearance level EU or NATO Secret.
Experience and knowledge of physical security (e.g. building security, managing a security guard force, technical security).
Experience in carrying out security risk assessments, threat assessments.
Availability on short notice (for urgent and/or emergency situations
Certification of competence for staff management – Belgian type A or similar will be considered an advantage.
The working languages are English and French. For this particular job, candidates must be proficient users at level C1/C2 in one of the 2 languages (English or French) and independent users at level B1/B2 of the other. Knowledge of Dutch (oral/written) will be an advantage.
