Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed and that any potential threats are promptly addressed.
Duties
Monitor premises through vehicular and foot patrols to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Implement loss prevention strategies to safeguard assets and prevent theft or damage.
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement when necessary.
Conduct regular inspections of the property, ensuring all security measures are functioning effectively.
Provide first aid assistance as needed and maintain CPR certification to respond to medical emergencies.
Manage conflicts effectively through de-escalation techniques and conflict management skills.
Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, observations, and any actions taken during shifts.
Collaborate with team members to enhance overall security protocols and ensure compliance with company policies.
Experience
Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with surveillance systems (Detex) and loss prevention techniques is advantageous.
Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; training may be provided for qualified candidates.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Excellent observational skills and attention to detail are essential for identifying potential security risks.
