305 Janitorial Services is seeking professional security guards to join our elite team for a prestigious property located in Miami Beach. Position: Security Guard (Observation & Reporting Only)
Location: Miami Beach, FL
Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time
Shift Hours: Evening and Overnight Shifts Available
Responsibilities:
Execute security services according to site-specific post orders and directives from security management.
Conduct property patrols every 30 minutes, marking designated checkpoints to ensure complete coverage.
Maintain a strong, professional presence while standing for extended periods on various surfaces (tile, concrete, carpet).
Observe and report suspicious activities, safety hazards, or any unusual behavior.
Write clear and detailed incident reports and maintain daily activity logs.
Enforce rules, policies, and property regulations effectively and respectfully.
Collaborate directly with the property manager to ensure seamless security operations.
Greet and verify guests upon entry according to a pre-approved list.
Notify appropriate authorities promptly in case of emergencies or security threats.
Qualifications:
Must have a valid Florida Security Guard License (D License required by state law).
Must own an active smartphone for real-time security tracking and reporting.
Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
Strong physical appearance and robust stature; must be capable of conducting regular patrols and standing for extended periods.
Ability to work well under pressure and handle emergencies calmly.
Clean background check and valid identification required.
Prior experience in retail security, hospitality security, or property management is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Previous experience working in high-end or luxury properties.
Knowledge of basic security systems and reporting software.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is an advantage.
