Lake Kiowa is a gated residential community with many wonderful amenities including an eighteen-hole championship golf course and private lake. Access to the community is limited to members and their guest.
Lake Kiowa Security provides guard service (Level II) 24 hours a day. The main objective of the Security Department is to provide a safe place for employees, residents, and guests of the community. The following are various duties of the Security Department:
JOB DUTIES
Control access into the community
Dispatch Security Officers to calls for service
Monitor CCTV & Security Systems
Perform routine patrol (vehicle and foot) in order to identify security risk, safety hazards, and maintenance issues
Enforce community Rules and Procedures
Lake Patrol (seasonal)
Various other security administrative duties
Collaborate with law enforcement
JOB REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED
Must be able to pass a criminal background screening and drug screening
Have a valid drivers license with clean driving record
State Certified Level II or the ability to receive license within thirty days
Ability to easily navigate through various computer programs
Ability to conduct foot patrols and stand for extended period of time
Ability to communicate well with others in written and verbal form
Maintain composure during high stress encounters
Adhere to department policy and standard operating procedures
Ability to work outside in extreme weather conditions
Must be available for varied shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 – $14.50 per hour
