We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible Security/ Doorman to join our dynamic team at Boston Cigar Club. We are a Cigar Club that is open to the public as well as members. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of responsibility, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to ensuring the safety and security of our guests and staff.
Responsibilities:
Guest Safety:
Checking ID and confirming all guest are over 21 years of age
Ensure the safety and well-being of all patrons
Enforcing of the dress code and house rules to all guests.
Crowd Control:
Manage entry and exit procedures.
Monitor crowd flow to prevent overcrowding and ensure a safe environment.
Assist with crowd control during busy periods.
Security Measures:
Enforce house rules and regulations.
Assist with emergency situations (e.g., medical emergencies, fire alarms).
Customer Service:
Provide a friendly and welcoming presence to all guests.
Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a professional and helpful manner.
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in a security and customer service role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong observational and situational awareness.
Ability to remain calm and collected under pressure.
Physical fitness and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Must be at least 21 years of age.

Pay: $20.10 – $20.72 per hour
