The Security Officer will be responsible for monitoring activities, responding to incidents, and maintaining a secure environment.
Duties
Monitor surveillance cameras and conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security.
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, taking appropriate action as necessary.
Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
Conduct thorough inspections of facilities to identify potential security risks or breaches.
Provide first aid and CPR assistance when required, ensuring the well-being of individuals on-site.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents or gather information.
Document all incidents accurately in reports for record-keeping and future reference.
Assist in loss prevention strategies by identifying suspicious behavior and taking preventive measures.
Experience
Candidates should possess relevant experience or certifications in security or law enforcement. Preferred skills include:
First aid and CPR certification.
Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques.
Knowledge of loss prevention strategies.
Experience in conflict management and de-escalation techniques.
A background in military service or law enforcement is advantageous.
Certification in security-related fields is a plus.
