Full Job Description
We have a full time unarmed security officer position opened in the St. Louis area. This position comes with a set weekly schedule at a set post; however at times you maybe asked to be a bit flexible to ensure coverage at the post.
We are looking for a professional and respectful security officer for these positions. All positions are inside with a desk and will be required to do rounds as directed.
Shifts: 1st and 2nd shifts.
Responsibilities:
– Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a safe and secure environment
– Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering the premises
– Respond to alarms and emergencies promptly and appropriately
– Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
– Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
– Complete accurate incident reports and maintain detailed logs of daily activities
Requirements:
– Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
– Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal – Knowledge of working a smart cell phone.
– Must be able to pass a background check
