Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. This is an opportunity to contribute to the protection of people and property while utilizing your skills in loss prevention, conflict management, and surveillance.
Responsibilities:
– Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to ensure the safety and security of the premises
– Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect and prevent unauthorized activities
– Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances or suspicious activities
– Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
– Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain order and prevent theft or damage
– Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related incidents
– Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed
Skills:
– Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
– Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and strategies
– Proficient in conflict management and de-escalation techniques
– CPR and First Aid certification preferred
– Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment
Requirements:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Proven work experience as a Security Officer or similar role
– Must be at least 18 years old
– Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
