Position Summary:

Perot Companies is currently hiring a Security Officer for our corporate headquarters in Dallas, TX. This veteran friendly company is seeking an elite security team to provide protective services for the building, associates, guests and the family. Responsibilities:

Provide a safe and secure work environment for guests, customers and employees by working various security positions and shifts.Maintain familiarity with high profile customers and guests.Secure premises and protect personnel by patrolling propertyMonitor surveillance equipment and alarm systems.Respond to alarms, calls for service and calls of distress.Investigate suspicious people and incidents.Investigate criminal activity.Transport high profile customers and guests.Use radio equipment, cell phones and other technology to perform duties.Maintain communication with other security officers, team members, staff and supervisors.Answer telephone calls and provide information during non-business hours.Complete reports by recording observations, information and occurrences.Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results.Work closely with Federal, State and local law enforcement agencies.Able to work shift work and over-time as needed.Maintain firearm proficiency, emergency medical and other security related training.Maintain preparedness to respond to unexpected emergency situations and events.Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

We are seeking well qualified individuals from the military who have worked security in US Embassies or other government or military facilities.

Physical Requirements:

Each officer will present themselves in a welcoming manner and conservative appearance.Ability to maintain firearm proficiency, emergency medical and other security related training.Maintain Texas Class C driver’s license and operate a motor vehicle and other equipment as needed.Maintain a clean and presentable appearance without facial hair.
