The Position We Are Hiring For (24 hours total )
4 Varied Days (1 weekend day and 3 weekdays)
Responsibilities:
This position is for a shopping center.
You will be providing Security Officer services by conducting foot patrols to detect, report and deter unauthorized activities. You will frequently check in with property tenants and respond to any alarms or emergency situations in a timely manner. To maintain a secure environment, you will enforce the location’s security policies and procedures. When needed, you will also coordinate with local law enforcement agencies. Using a cell phone, provided on location, you will keep a running Daily Activity Report while also submitting incident reports and maintenance requests when necessary.
Requirements:
– Must have an active Maryland Security License or be able to obtain one within 30 days after hire.
– Previous Security experience is preferred.
– Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations effectively.
– Ability to Walk for extended periods of time, in all types of weather conditions.
– Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
– Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
– Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
– Must have a working email and cell phone.
Notes:
– Must have an active Maryland Security License or be able to obtain one at the time of interview.
– The client may fluctuate the schedule from time to time to adjust services as needed.
