Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance and conflict management, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed diligently.
Duties
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activities.
Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to ensure comprehensive coverage of the premises.
Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as necessary.
Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and ensure compliance with security policies.
Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify potential hazards or security breaches.
Provide assistance during incidents involving conflict management or loss prevention.
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
Assist in training new security personnel on protocols and procedures.
Requirements
Previous experience in law enforcement or security roles is preferred.
Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and monitoring equipment is essential.
Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
Strong conflict management skills to effectively handle challenging situations.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
A valid security guard license or certificate is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided for the right candidate.
Military experience is a plus but not required.
