We are seeking a dedicated and professional Part Time Security Officer to join our 24/7 and/or Event Security Team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of all guests, employees, and assets at the stadium. The role involves both event-day and non-event-day security duties, requiring flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Assistance & Information: Provide visitors with accurate stadium and event details.
Policy Enforcement: Ensure compliance with building policies and procedures.
Crowd & Traffic Control:
Assist with managing crowd flow at entry and exit points.
Provide directions and updates on road closures, travel routes, and stadium events.
Help execute layouts for pedestrian safety, traffic control, passenger queuing for public transit (e.g., VTA light rail), and security perimeters.
Security & Incident Response:
Respond to all emergencies promptly and appropriately.
Work closely with law enforcement, fire/rescue, and stadium staff to coordinate security efforts.
Monitor the crowd during events to ensure guest safety.
Access Control: Verify credentials and control access to restricted areas.
Professional Interaction: Respond to guest concerns and complaints in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed incident reports and security logs.
Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:
Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Guard Card preferred (or ability to obtain).
Previous experience in security, event management, law enforcement, or customer service is a plus.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
Exposure to outdoor weather conditions during events.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Regularly required to talk, hear, and interact with guests and staff.
Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 25 pounds.
Certain positions may require the ability to push or pull up to 250 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision and depth perception.
Must be available to work evenings, holidays, and weekends as required by event schedules.
