Position: SECURITY OFFICER
This is an obligated position. An obligated position is one to which an employee has statutory restoration rights or entitlement based on active military service, recovery from a compensable injury, or return rights based on an overseas tour.
Specialized Experience: You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is defined as experience managing a corporate security program, covering the full range of functions to include Personnel Security, Physical Security, Operations Security, Information Security and communications (to include privacy). Your resume must demonstrate experience in the following areas:
Developing and implementing security policies;
Overseeing an information security program, ensuring proper access to sensitive or classified information and/or facilities;
Directing security inspections, reviewing reports and addressing vulnerabilities.
Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, Ameri Corps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual, community, student, social).
