Rebel Security is on the lookout for a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to be assigned to a cannabis dispensary in the Upper East Side Manhattan and/or Downtown Brooklyn areas. As a crucial part of our team, you will ensure a secure shopping environment for all patrons by managing access control, verifying IDs with a scanner, and performing a variety of security tasks. Your role is instrumental in upholding the safety and integrity of the dispensary, aligning with both our and the client’s high standards and values.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct access control at the main entrance, using an ID scanner to verify customer identification and to ensure compliance with legal age requirements.
Greet customers warmly, providing a positive first impression of The Dispensary, while ensuring all access protocols are followed.
Manage any incidents with discretion and professionalism, following established protocols for emergency situations, including coordination with local law enforcement when necessary.
Engage in ongoing communication with The Dispensary’s staff to ensure a unified approach to security and customer service.
Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED preferred; additional qualifications or training in security services highly regarded.
Proven experience in a security role, with a preference for individuals with retail security experience.
Familiarity with using digital tools and apps for ID verification.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
A commitment to ethical and professional conduct, consistent with Rebel Security LLC’s and The Dispensary’s policies.
