non-racing events including: concerts, weddings, conferences, on-site hotel, and their award-winning Nursery.

We have a new and

exciting

opportunity for a Security Officer to join our professional team. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our security team, providing a 24/7 security service across the estate maintaining the safety and security of all staff, visitors, premises, and assets. The role involves carrying out a variety of patrol duties, control room operations (which includes monitoring and operating CCTV) and responding to reported incidents.

The position will involve shift work, days, nights, and weekends, on a rota basis.

The successful applicant will have an

for the high standards expected by our client and their customers. There will be elements of working unsupervised, so you must be reliable, able to use your initiative and exercise sound judgment

The ideal applicant will

* Hold SIA (Security Industry Authority) CCTV and Front-Line qualifications and a full driving license

Have 5 years relevant Security experience in a comparable role

Be of a positive nature

Be able to perform well under pressure

Have basic computer literacy

Security Officers duties & responsibilities will include:

* Perimeter checks:

Inspecting the boundaries of the property, including the gates, fences, and entrances, to ensure they are secure and not damaged.

* Monitoring access points

* Checking all doors, windows, and other access points, to ensure they are locked and secure, and monitoring for unauthorised entry.

* Inspecting buildings and equipment, conducting routine checks inside buildings or facilities for any signs of tampering, fire hazards, or damage to property and equipment.

* Deterrents of criminal activity. Maintaining a visible presence to discourage theft, vandalism, and other criminal activity.

* Reporting suspicious activity, observing and documenting any suspicious behaviors, potential threats, or hazards, and reporting these to the appropriate authorities.

* Dealing professionally with incidents including positive searches

* Alarm system checks:

Ensuring that security alarms, cameras, and other surveillance equipment are functional and reporting any malfunctions.

* Safety checks:

Looking for fire hazards, blocked emergency exits, or unsafe working conditions, and ensuring compliance with

safety protocols

* Responding to Incidents:

Providing an immediate response to any security breaches, medical emergencies, or other incidents occurring on site.

* Visitor and vehicle control:

Monitoring and recording vehicles and individuals entering or exiting the site, to ensure only authorised personnel are present.

Keeping detailed logs of patrols, incidents, and any irregularities found during patrols.
