As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. Your primary duties will include surveillance, conflict management, and loss prevention. Duties:
– Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure security
– Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems
– Respond promptly to any security incidents or emergencies
– Enforce access control procedures and verify identification of individuals
– Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries
– Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
– Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records
– Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to security
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent required
– Valid Security Officer license or certification preferred
– Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or military is a plus
– Knowledge of surveillance techniques, CCTV systems, and access control systems
– Familiarity with first aid/CPR procedures is an asset
– Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle stressful situations calmly
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
– Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
