Now hiring part-time and full-time Security Officers in the Jersey City area. High school diploma or GED required. Must be able to work 8-hour shift and overnight, as needed. NJ Security Guard License (SORA) preferred. Officers will meet and greet residents, check in and out guests and service providers. Must be able to understand and react to emergency situations, monitor and operate electronic security control systems and accurately maintain daily logs, records and forms and some clerical work in addition to monitoring and controlling access to the building.
You will help maintain a safe & secure environment throughout the premises. May be assigned other duties by supervisor as needed. Must be able to work in team-oriented environment as well as independently. Must be 18 years of age or older as required by law/contract. Must be able to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing. Candidates for the position should have strong interpersonal skills, ability to maintain satisfactory attendance & punctuality, and neat and professional appearance.
Work location is in person.
