Local Agency is looking for licensed ARMED security officers to fill in several positions in Chicago. Officers role is to de-escalate tense situations and protect life. NO LOSS PREVENTION OF ANY KIND. Our agents must be well-trained in customer service, observation, and communication and have at least 2 years proven experience as an armed security officer. The ideal candidate will look the part, inspire respect and authority as well as possess a high level of passion for their work. Veterans preferred.
Responsibilities
Provide services indicated by management and OPS team
Establish a security presence inside the store
Secure all exits, doors and windows as needed
Provide security assistance to employees
Skills
Proven experience as an armed security officer
Knowledge of area security and public safety
Must be a team player and work well with others
Must have dependable cell phone and respond to alert messages in a timely manner via text and email
Must hold Perc card and be able to work armed exposed weapon
Must have their own equipment
More Details
Shifts are 8 hours long and are standing/walking roles. Officers must have their own tan or black tactical pants and duty belt with weapon; we will provide the security polo. Pay will start at $25 and increase to $30 after 30 days of work.
