Position Title: Overnight Guest Ambassador – Security & Guest Services
Location: The Broadway Columbia, a DoubleTree by Hilton
Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Hourly Rate: $14.00 – $15.00
Overview:
Join our team as an Overnight Guest Ambassador! This position combines guest services, light security, and operational support to ensure a safe, welcoming, and memorable experience for our guests. No formal security experience or physical intervention skills are required—just a positive, attentive, and proactive attitude!
What You’ll Do:
Security & Safety Presence
Conduct regular patrols of the hotel interior and exterior, ensuring doors are secure and the property is safe.
Observe for any potential security or safety risks, and respond calmly and professionally to noise complaints or guest disruptions.
Respond to emergencies, such as fires or medical situations, by following established protocols to ensure guest and staff safety.
Promote safe practices throughout the property, initiating preliminary investigations and documenting incidents as needed.
Guest Assistance & Valet Service
Greet and assist guests upon arrival, help with luggage, and provide valet service by parking and retrieving guest vehicles.
Provide information on local activities, directions, and recommendations, offering a welcoming first impression.
Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, providing friendly, efficient service to enhance their stay.
Lobby & Property Care
Conduct regular cleaning tasks to ensure the lobby, elevators, and property are well-maintained and presentable.
Perform minor maintenance checks, monitor equipment functionality, and report any issues promptly.
Support the front desk and other departments by assisting with messages, room moves, luggage storage, and any additional guest services.
Requirements
Age Requirement: Must be 21 years or older.
Driving Requirements: Valid driver’s license with a clean record and experience driving both manual and automatic vehicles preferred.
Strong Communication Skills: Friendly, calm demeanor, able to handle guest interactions and de-escalate situations professionally.
Dependability & Flexibility: Willing to cover additional shifts as necessary to support the team.
