Security GuardJob Responsibilities:
Monitor building entrances to prevent theft and maintain security of premises.
Keep reports of daily activities and incidents, such as property damage, theft, trespassing, etc.
Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency.
Investigate disturbances and calls made by residents or employees.
Circulate among visitors, patrons and employees to preserve order and protect property.
Escort or drive vehicles to transport individuals to specified locations or to provide personal protection.
Warn intruders and/or evict violators from premises, using force when necessary.
Inspect and adjust security systems, equipment, or machinery to ensure operational use.
Monitor and adjust controls that regulate building systems, such as air conditioning, furnace, or boiler.
Security GuardJob Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED.
Valid, unrestricted driver’s license (must have 5 years driving experience)
Security experience, preferred.
CPR certified within 30days of hire (class provided).
Experience working with a vulnerable population (preferred).
