Position Summary
As an Unarmed Gatehouse Security Officer with Capital Protection Solutions, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment for our residents. You will be responsible for monitoring and controlling access to the community, ensuring that all policies and procedures are followed.
Key Responsibilities
Follow Post Orders to conduct duties effectively.
Communicate with team members and supervisors for updates and reporting.
Adhere strictly to Gatehouse Procedures for guest and resident entry.
Maintain accurate records in the computer log for all visitors and residents entering through the Guest Lane.
Respond immediately to incidents and report findings using our software.
Greet residents and visitors professionally, ensuring all protocols are followed.
Monitor and control access at the Resident Entry Lane, verifying resident information when needed.
Maintain a professional appearance and conduct throughout shifts.
Qualifications
5 YEARS OF SECURITY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Must hold a Security D license issued by the State of Florida.
High school diploma or GED required.
Neat and professional appearance at all times.
Basic computer skills essential for logging entries and completing incident reports.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Requirements
Ability to speak, write, and understand English clearly.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow explicit instructions.
Must wear a clean uniform with a black belt and enclosed shoes/boots provided by Capital.
No personal cell phone use permitted while on duty, unless in an emergency.
