Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. This is a vital role in ensuring the protection of our assets and the well-being of all individuals on the premises.
Responsibilities:
– Conduct regular patrols of the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unauthorized entry
– Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify any suspicious activities or security breaches
– Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances
– Provide assistance and support to employees and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
– Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain order and safety
– Perform access control duties by verifying identification, issuing visitor badges, and maintaining visitor logs
– Conduct thorough investigations of incidents, accidents, or other security-related matters
– Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
– Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations
Experience:
– Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military is preferred
– Knowledge of CCTV systems, access control systems, and other security equipment
– Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and practices
– Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
– Ability to perform basic first aid procedures if needed
– CPR certification is a plus
Requirements:
– High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in security procedures is a plus
– Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
– Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
– Strong attention to detail and observation skills
