Henry Schein, Inc is looking for an EXPERIENCED Safety & Security Officer, with at least 1 YEAR OF RECENT SECURITY EXPERIENCE!
NOT your typical Security position. THIS IS MORE THAN wanding, watching people pass through a metal detector, and sitting in a booth all day.

Available shift, 7:30am – 4pm, Monday through Friday. Some weekends may be necessary

Must have:
Must be reliable (come to work everyday and on time) and flexible with scheduling
Security Officer experience (1 year in Security, law enforcement, loss prevention or comparable experience)
Ability to pass a drug screen, background check and E-Verify
Flexible with scheduling. You may be asked to come in early or stay later than your assigned schedule. You will also train on all shifts and in our other 2 facilities.
Computer literate. Able to maintain, create and understand reports and emails
High degree of integrity, motivation, interpersonal skill, adaptability and ability to learn quickly and multi-task.
Willingness to cross train at our 3 facilities and on all schedules
Have experience or be familiar with Job Duties listed below
Job Duties:
Patrols the Distribution Center (lots of walking involved)
Monitors all CCTV equipment, burglar and fire alarm panels.
Assists in conducting fire and safety inspections
Observes team members leaving the property to guard against theft
Ensures all Team members and visitors receive the proper identification to enter the premises
Maintains accurate records of all forklift operators and notifies all forklift operators when their annual certification is due.
Maintains accurate records of all facility damages, injury accidents, near misses, spills
Ensures all hazardous spill carts and first aid training kits are properly maintained
Is an active member of the First Aid Team, Spill Team and Hazardous Material Spill Team
