LCRA Public Safety is seeking a Public Safety Security Officer I who is a team player and highly customer service oriented. Our ideal candidate strives for excellence and embodies LCRA’s values of service, initiative, respect, integrity, and safety.
As a Public Safety Security Officer I, your responsibilities include:
Patrolling premises and inspecting buildings to ensure safety and security.
Monitoring access points and entryways.
Providing protection for people and property.
Assisting police and emergency personnel as needed.
Reporting security violations and equipment issues.
Operating security equipment such as CCTV, access controls, radios, and alarms.
Conducting investigations and writing reports on incidents.
Performing special assignments and providing incident response, especially at Critical Infrastructure sites.
Enforcing visitor and contractor badge procedures.
Completing required training and certifications.
Qualifications include:
Ability to obtain and maintain Texas Private Security Board Level III Security Officer license.
Experience in security, first response, or military service preferred.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to obtain and maintain necessary certifications such as TCIC/NCIC and CPR/AED.
Successful background check and CJIS compliance.
